The Baobab (Adansonia digitata) is a remarkable tree, which is a feature of the Northern Province of South Africa. From 20 to 25 meters in height, it is considered by the African populations as the sacred tree. Of an exceptional longevity, some Baobab can reach 2000 - 3000 years.
